Looking for an easy way to make homemade cake balls? Every year for the 4th of July (yes, I know it is January, but I figured you all might be planners, like me) I make around 200 cake balls for my neighborhood parade and block party. And every year, they get gobbled up. They are so easy to make and you can decorate them for any holiday or occasion. I also like to make these at Halloween – cake balls make great spooky eyeballs! Make it a 2014 goal to make these for some event and people will love you for it!
So – your instructions.
Decide on what flavor you want for your cake balls – for this recipe, I did red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting.
As you can see, one cake made 8 rows of 6 and one row of 5 balls. Can you do that math? I can’t… I’m a social worker, we don’t do math.
