So… February has already started and that means that Valentine’s Day is in less than 2 weeks! Eek! What on earth am I going to have my kids make to pass out at the school Valentine’s Day party?!
Last year, the kids did the photo of them holding a tootsie pop that was making a buzz all over Pinterest – it was very cute and super easy. I just took photos of them, had them printed, and then poked tiny holes above and below their hands and threaded a tootsie pop through. Easy as pie and very cute.
And of course, now that I am trying to write this blog, I can’t find a photo of the cards with the tootsie pops in their hands! Oh well, you get the gist.
So – I didn’t want to do the same thing as last year, so I started digging around Pinterest – the website that makes me look like an amazingly creative mom. What would I do without Pinterest?! Probably buy Valentine’s from the drug store and let the kids give their friends a tattoo that won’t come of even when you scrub for hours and accidentally scrub the skin off surrounding the tattoo… not that I have done that…
Below are some fun Valentine’s Day cards I found on Pinterest!
Since Rainbow Looms are so totally hip and cool this year (remember friendship bracelets and friendship pins? rainbow loom bracelets are even more awesome!) I thought these would be a great option for the kids to make – I mean, we already have about a hundred bracelets made that are just laying around the house… why not put them to good use?

I also found these cute printables for non-candy Valentine’s. We always get so much candy on Valentine’s, it actually might be great to not contribute to the cavities…
For the bigger kiddo’s, this soda pop idea is very cute – and kids just love getting soda pop!

Now go get your crafty on and if you have other cool ideas for Valentine’s, post them in the comments below!
